Dr. Cora Kenderdine teaches research development and undergraduate introductory biology courses. She also serves as a co-advisor for Beta Beta Beta, the Biological Honor Society.
Dr. Kenderdine’s research focuses on characterization, epidemiology, and management of plant pathogens causing root rot and wilt diseases on crops grown in controlled environment agriculture production. She is interested in developing biocontrol strategies by evaluating microorganisms for their efficacy against economically important oomycete pathogens including Pythium and Globisporangium species.
